The Inaugural Porchfest OMA was held Fall of 2017. Porchfest began in 2007 as a small neighborhood festival in Ithaca, New York; it has now expanded to more than 200 partner festivals across the United States and Canada. The mission of the event is to celebrate the vital creative community through music and art. Entire neighborhoods of families and friends experience the free event every year.
Gifford Park is a diverse community in Midtown Omaha; it hosts an annual street festival (33rd Friday), a Farmer’s Market since 2008, offers a community garden and has sustained a neighborhood association committed to preserving and uplifting the community since 1988. It is the perfect home for Porchfest!
Porchfest OMA is an E3 Music Management production with the Gifford Park Neighborhood Association.
